These are the mothers in our church. I’m also included here. Our pastor prayed for us and children were given a chance to say something about their mom. We really had a great day. We thank God that we have mothers and we experience to be mothers.

I was quite busy these past few weeks since we celebrated holy week. I was asked to train a choir in our church and the nearby church too for an Easter Musical. Glad we’ve done last Friday and today. The choir sang some songs but the final presentation would be on Wednesday where some churches preferably more than 20 churches join in this conference. Hope and pray that the choir will be prepared and their voices could give God the glory and honor.
I will give you some updates after the presentation.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday. I went to my OB and talked to her. Glad to hear from her advices on what to do. After which, I went to SM supermarket and ate lunch at KFC with my sis. Then we proceeded to the beauty treatment. It feels good and we enjoyed but we’re amazed of the price when we paid. Anyway, we’ll be back for another treatment for free, so we just laughed and enjoyed the day.
I met my co-teachers before and we had dinner when I sent a message to another friend where I left AJ she told me that there was a prepared surprised dinner at the church with my choir members. What a day!

I tried to write yesterday about the heart’s day celebration but I failed due to many activities here and there. We had visitors and we met and celebrate together, so we decided to give time for them since they came just to be with us in this special occasion. This year’s Chinese New Year is somewhat different from last year. This celebration is indeed memorable. We have noticed it, since yesterday when we went to the big and known department store near our area, the store was full of people, either Chinese and Thai alike of course with other nationalities. We were shocked when we came inside. There’s no place to move freely. Everybody was in a hurry buying a lot of things.
We just bought few things for our party with friends. And we stayed for quite sometime because of the crowd. We even forgot to eat our lunch because we waited for quite sometime in the cashier’s booth. Wow! What a day.
Then in the evening our neighbor gave us some fruits and we heard a lot of firecrackers in the morning that woke up my sons. They find it interesting and fun just to listen to the sounds…

I wonder what is this. I guess, this is a place where people visit last Christmas. A friend of ours gave this picture and I like the picture. I shared it today just to remember what happened last Christmas. I guess everyone enjoyed and had some fun with the family and friends. We don’t, we just stayed at home and went to department store and see the lanterns. Christmas and New year are still fresh so I still post this, hehe!

I’m so sorry for not writing on time here. Anyway, better late than never, right? The year 2009 has gone and the year 2010 is on the way. Whatever happened last year will never be the same this year, I guess! Yesterday has gone and tomorrow has come. Another year to make a choice. A choice that lasts a lifetime. So we have to choose what is right, if not, it will ruin our future, if we choose to be bad or do bad things. We have the choice between right and wrong and no in betweens. So choices will bless our lives or ruin it.
Choosing the good thing is what I always desire although my old sinful nature is always knocking at the door. I have to choose the best thing. God is always taking care of me in spite of who I am. I’m blessed by the Lord. Last year was of no return but to move on and do the best that we can do for the Lord, for others especially the less fortunate and for our neighbors. It’s always the thing that we can left behind thourgh all the years. The good thing that we did will always make a footprint for others to follow.
So, choose the best and God will just do the rest for us. Happy New Year to all bloggers and friends. May this year be a fruitful and meaningful one for all of us.

Life is busier in December. I guess, most people would agree. We have a lot of surprises, gift-giving and a lot of food prepared. This season is quite busy for us too. There are a lot celebrations here and there.
This month of December is a busy life for most of us here. Parties are everywhere and we received many gifts from people who care. We can be a blessing or we will be blessed as well.
This month has a lot of celebrations as well in my family. My younger sister celebrated her birthday on the 3rd of Dec. My mother’s birthday was on the 8th, my bro-in-law was on the 22nd, our friends’ wedding anniversary on the 2nd too and ours on the 23rd. Hubby’s birthday falls on the 29th and that will be tomorrow and my nephew (my sister’s son) on the 30th. Well, a lot of celebrations and what a joy we have to celebrate these occasions.
Anyways, for those who have celebrated their birthdays or anniversaries, greetings to you all. May you have more years to come and more blessings to receive. God bless!

Christmas is a time of giving and receiving as well. However, it is more blessed to give than to receive as what the Bible says. A lot of people are busy, going to and fro buying gifts, exchanging gifts as well. We did a lot. When we were in the Phil. we did carolling to different places, houses and friends. But what really Christmas is all about?
Christmas is loving and sharing. For me, the true meaning of Christmas is the One who came and set us free. The man who came humbly, suffered, and was crucified. Even then, he was risen from the grave and went back to His Father in heaven. That’s the true meaning of Christmas for me. BUt won’t believe of His coming because he was born in manger, in a lowly estate. But wonders came to being during his time on earth and mane were touched, healed, and believed of who He is.
According to Isaiah 9:6
For unto us, a child is born
Unto us a son is given…
And He will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.
